Immersive News Round-Up July 2019

The Immersive Industry, like the weather, is heating up!  It’s been a while since I created and published a News Round-Up blog post but this month, or last week really I have noticed a spike of activity that I feel is worth sharing with you all.

(Accelerator) WXR Accelerator closes at the end of this month
If your XR/Spatical Computing or AI company has a female founder or gender diverse leadership team then you should check out this 12 week accelerator opportunity out!

I’ve followed this initiative from the beginning, my 1st blog with Suzanne Showcasing VR was about attending the live pitching session for the 1st Cohort in AltSpaceVR! I applied for the 2nd Cohort myself and would recommend submitting an application because even if you are rejected you receive valuable feedback that helps you to improve.

What’s it Like, Attending a Memorial in Virtual Reality?

A beautiful write-up of such an emotional virtual reality memorial event for our amazing friend Chris Long.

I wanted to send a personal thank you, and goodbye. I knew nobody would read it, and he was long gone. It seemed like saying goodbye digitally seemed fitting in our tech-heavy digital world. Lenovo Mirage Solo Virtual Reality Headset – is it for you?

Hi everyone,

It’s been a while since I was here! I’ve been busying myself with the VR Startup (Pivotal Reality) and learning to upskill myself in the VR dev space too!!!

Having said that, I am conscious that my blog has been getting a tad dusty… So here I am to change all that!

I have created a video to talk about the Lenovo Mirage Solo standalone VR headset. I wanted to share my insight and hopefully help any confused consumers out there 😊

The video is just under 12 minutes long – enjoy!

I will post the How to Cast using Mirage Solo video here once completed. It’s completely up to you whether you would like to follow this blog, my YouTube channel or my Twitter (@TheHappyLass) for news of when that video is available.

Until next time, take care x

Suzanne
